Este grupo canadense foi formado em 1953 com o objetivo de fazer “covers” de sucessos da fronteira do sul. Assim, lançou Why do Fools Fall in Love, com um extra, o humor típico de quem observa tudo de fora. Mas os Diamonds serão lembrados para sempre pelo divertido Little Darlin’, com um recitativo bem debochado do seu baixo, Bill Reed. Apoiado pelo apresentador Dick Clark, o grupo teve uma longa e sólida carreira. Ainda se apresentam em especiais para levantar dinheiro para a rede pública PBS.
This Canadian group was formed in 1953 with the sole objective of covering hits south of the border (their border). So, they released Why do Fools Fall in Love, with a plus, the typical humor of the beholder. But the Diamonds Will always be revered by their humorous rendition of Little Darlin’, with a mocking recite of their bass, Bill Reed. Supported by the mega-host Dick Clark, the group enjoyed a long and solid career. They still sing in TV specials to raise money for PBS.
