Rama Lama Ding Dong tem o começo mais esquisito de uma canção na História do rock. Talvez seja a razão de estar postado aqui, mas os Edsels têm outras particularidades. Por exemplo, o nome é homenagem a um tipo de Ford fracassado, mas já foi Esso, por causa da companhia de petróleo recentemente englobada pela Shell. Quer dizer, eles estavam mesmo dispostos a poluir o ar e os nossos ouvidos. Outro fato interessante é que conseguiram logo de saída um selo mainstream, a Capitol, que lançaria depois os Beatles.

For instance, the name comes from the greatest automobile failure of all times, a Ford, but also had been Esso, under the name of the oil company recently merged with Shell. In other words, they really meant to pollute the air and our ears. Another interesting fact is they signed with a mainstream company, Capitol, that would soon release the Beatles.
