Apesar de ter nascido com os anos 70, o britânico ELO se lançou no mundo através do musical Xanadu, junto com a australiana Olivia Newton-John. O álbum é excelente da primeira à ultima faixa. Investindo pesado na onda disco, o grupo permaneceu faturando seus 100 milhões de LPs vendidos até 1986, quando se desfez. Mas quem é bom sempre aparece, e no novo milênio o ELO se refez e anda pelos palcos do mundo cantando All Over The World, Eldorado e especialmente a ousada Quinta de Beethoven à la Chuck Berry postada aqui.
Although born in the 70’s, the British ELO was known worldwide through the blockbuster film Xanadu, along with Australian Olivia Newton-John. The album is excellent from the first to the last track. Investing heavily in the disco trend, the band remained on the top selling over 100 millions till 1986, when they broke up. But the world is in dire need, and ELO came back in 2001 still singing All Over The World, Eldorado and the daring Beethoven’s Fifth a la Chuck Berry which is posted here.
