FESTIVAL DE ROCK - THE EXPRESSIONS

Esta é a música mais mexida que eu já ouvi. Primeiro com os Manhattan Transfer, depois com os Bells e o Moonlight. Não há jeito de evitar fazer a voz do baixo, da-doo-dee-doo-da-bee-doo-dee-doo, seja qual for a interpretação. Assim é o doo-wop, que ninguém resiste. Os Expressions começaram cantando em festas, espetáculos beneficentes, e ainda hoje têm popularidade local, em Staten Island (NY), tendo cantado ao lado de muitos conjuntos focalizados aqui neste Festival de Rock. Incluímos também o som do Moonlight, que nos pareceu a melhor interpretação de Baby Come Back (The Morse Code Of Love).

 

Now this is the swingiest song I’ve ever heard. First by the Manhattan Transfer, then the Bells and now the Moonlight. You simply can’t avoid doing the bass voice, da-doo-dee-doo-da-bee-doo-dee-doo, whatever is the recording. But this is doo-wop, no one can ever resist. The Expressions started singing in parties, benefits, and yet today they are very popular locally, in Staten Island (NY), having been singing beside many of the groups paraded in this Rock Festival. We also included the sound of the Moonlight, that sounded like the best version of Baby Come Back (The Morse Code Of Love).
