Os Ramones foram os precursores do punk rock nos Estados Unidos, formados em 1971 por Joey, Dee Dee e Johnny. O trio tinha dificuldades sérias para cantar e tocar, e tiveram de contratar outros músicos para fazer o “back”. A canção postada aqui é uma prova de que eles conseguiam bagunçar até com um sucesso como Baby I Love You. Bastante divertido. Note como o naipe de cordas fica deslocado... E, é claro, interrompem tudo pelo meio.

The trio found difficult to play and sing at the same time, so they had to hire other artists to perform the back. And, of course, the song is interrupted in the middle.
