Os Rubettes surgiram no meio da dance music fazendo rock inspirado nos anos 60, mas em 1973. No princípio dos anos 80 aconteceu uma onda gigantesca de nostalgia, talvez impulsionada pelo sucesso de Grease. Assim, todos prestaram atenção à banda, especialmente nas canções Sugar Baby Love, Juke Box Jive, We Can Do It e Tonight. Eles se apresentam até hoje; vieram na onda da nostalgia e já estão na memória dos menos jovens.
The Rubettes were Born in the core of dance music singing a kind of rock inspired in the 60’s, but in 1973. Then, in the beginning of the 80’s the world was under a tsunami of nostalgia, maybe powered by the success of Grease.
