FESTIVAL DE ROCK - KC AND THE SUNSHINE BAND

Este conjunto de funk e disco é um grande colecionador de Grammys, o Oscar da música. Harry Casey, o KC, tinha o poder de “cheirar” o que o povo estava querendo. Em 1973, todo mundo queria deixar rolar nas discotecas; então tudo bem. Foi só juntar os talentos de Jerome Smith, Richard Finch e Robert Johnson e oferecer um monte de música dançante. Lançaram duas convocações para o sopro, Blow Your Whistle e Sound Your Funky Horn. Depois se sucederam Get Down Tonight, e a música que ficou na lembrança, That’s The Way I Like It. KC chegou a participar da trilha de Saturday Night Fever, já que todo mundo estava dançando mesmo.

This funk and disco is one of the greatest Grammys collectors, the Oscar of music. Harry Casey, the KC, had the Power to “smell” what kids wanted. Back in 1973, they wanted to let IF roll in discotheques; so let’em do it. With the combined talents of Jerome Smith, Richard Finch and Robert Johnson they offered lots of dancing music. They started releasing two suggestions to blowing, Blow Your Whistle and Sound Your Funky Horn. Then came Get Down Tonight, and the song destined to stay, That’s The Way I Like It. KC The group was invited to the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, now that everybody was dancing, anyway.
