O mundo mudou em junho de 1962, quando foi lançado o primeiro satélite de comunicações, o Telstar. No mesmo ano, os Tornados lançavam um hino à modernidade, com o mesmo nome, associando efeitos sonoros com o ritmo. Eles alcançaram o primeiro lugar nos USA e na Inglaterra, ainda que Telstar não tivesse letras. O lado B era Jungle Fever, com efeitos sonoros da selva.
The world changed in June 1962, when the first communications satellite was launched, the Telstar. In the same year, the Tornados released an anthem to the modernity, with the name of the satellite, associating sound effects with the rhythm. They reached number one in USA and England, even though Telstar had no lyrics. Side B was Jungle Fever, also with animals sound effects.
